BRISTELL B23
INTRODUCING
New BRISTELL B23
Bristell, the Czech light aircraft manufacturer that has produced more than 500 LSA aircraft worldwide, has launched the bristell B23, its next-generation low-wing aircraft. The B23 was designed in accordance with the European certification framework CS23 / U.S. FAR23.says it "listened to feedback from more than 500 happy customers around the world" before designing the new aircraft.
Although the aircraft looks very similar to the classic Bristell LSA, there is actually much more to the new design. The fuselage is longer and the tail is larger, with an aluminum rudder; the flaps and stabilizer are larger and better; the composite main landing gear legs have been completely redesigned to be able to carry much higher loads than previous Bristell models; and the aircraft's handling characteristics have improved significantly. In addition, the dual elevator counterbalance function helps the pilot optimize stick forces.
The aircraft's maximum take-off weight is 750 kg and its empty weight is 435 kg, giving a payload of 315 kg.With a 120-litre fuel tank capacity, the B23 is “a very good cruiser,” says Bristell.“The airframe is designed to last a long time and has a rugged design, which makes it particularly suitable for flight training,” Bristell said.
Major equipment includes a steerable nose wheel and the BRS ballistic parachute rescue system.Standard equipped aircraft also meet night-VFR requirements and can be upgraded to meet IFR requirements.
The BRISTELL B23 aircraft has an EASA type certificate. Certified for day and night flights.
The B23 is similar in appearance to the BRISTELL Classic. In fact, it differs in the size of the tail section; the area of the fin and stabilizer with elevator have been increased. The aircraft has additional reinforcement of the airframe structure and all load-bearing surfaces. The main landing gear is made of composite material and is designed for increased loads, with an aircraft take-off weight of 750 kg. The aircraft has a steerable front wheel. Balancers on the elevator help optimize the forces on the aircraft's control stick, which improves handling characteristics. The installed instrumentation, combined with its flight characteristics, is ideal for initial training in flight schools. The B23 aircraft allows for commercial use.
